Hot rods, vehicles made 1948 and earlier. 1/4 mile, handicap dial in to the nearest 10th. Must have all IHRA required safety equipment. Minimum 16 car field.

Sportsman, or full tree handicap racing. Dial to the nearest tenth. Vehicles made from 1949-1963. Must have all IHRA required Safety Equipment. Minimum 16 car field.

NOSTALGIA GAS
Gasser class. Must pass tech inspection. Nose high ill handling style where the rocker panel is higher than the center line of the front spindle. Sportsman tree, racing where classes A=9.50 through G=12.50. Winner of each Index will be awarded a trophy. These guidlines are for classification for vehicles participating at the event, all IHRA safety rules are a applicable.
Friday Night Gambler's Race
Saturday Heads UP
All race divisions join in the Heads Up action. Each division will race to find the fastest car in each division! No dial in, leave the line at the same time, first to the finish line wins, just like the old days (Sticker race only, no bearing on Sunday's race program)!
Sunday Sunday Sunday Race Day!
Sunday is race day with $1000 total purse for each class. There will be 10 classes of racing with individual guidelines per each class. All class racers must conform to IHRA safety regulations and pass a technical inspection by Dragway 42. No electronics will be allowed in competition. NO use of any type of rev-limiter will be allowed in competition for launch control, too include a two-step. Rev limiters Can be used for engine over rev protection only . No Screw type blowers. Vehicles quicker than 9.99 in the ¼ mile must have an engine diaper to compete. No buy backs for any class. Bye runs will be determined by best reaction time from previous run. Each class will be called to a specific lane.
Hot Rod I
Vehicles manufactured from 1900 to 1948. This class will be handicap racing dial in to the nearest 10th on a handicap tree.
Hot Rod II
Vehicles manufactured from 1949 to 1963. This class will be handicap racing dial in to the nearest 10th on a handicap tree.
Muscle Car
Vehicles manufactured from 1964 to 1972. This class will be handicap racing dial in to the nearest 10th on a handicap tree.
Nostalgia Gas
Vehicles manufactured from 1927-1967. Traditional Gasser bodied cars that have the nose high stance. The rocker panel/lowest part of the vehicle body is above the centerline of the front spindle. Vehicles must be full fendered, have a roof, and hood top. Vehicle cannot be chopped/channeled more than 4 inches. No Motorcycles. This class will be index racing with index listed below. Winners of each index will then be matched up closest to farthest, etc. The sportsman tree will be utilized for this class. Complete guidelines can be found, click here.

Open Car
Dragsters and Funny cars built to resemble an era before 1972. Sportsman tree dial in to the nearest 10th. No electronics.
All classes based on a minimum of 16 car field.
Double entry is permitted, however, event schedule may not give adequate cool down time to double entered vehicles.

Unless noted;
Because of the shear size of the event, Divisions will be called to the lanes to ease staging lane congestion.
Dragway 42 has ice, and Sunoco Racing Fuel for your needs. (110,112,116 & Methanol)
