Rock'N'Race

Jim Murphy started the Rock and Race back in 2006 and the show was a great combination of racing and rockabilly. The show changed and through the years and became a bracket race party. We are returning to the glory days of Dragway 42. The new Rock'N'Race is the best damn Nostalgia Drag Racing, Rock and Roll and Rockabilly show there is. Period.

Spectator- Thursday $10, Friday $20, Saturday $20, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday $10

VIP Spectator Parking on West Hill $20 per day first come first serve.

Weekend pass $40

Show Cars/Fun runs/ Flag Start race $40

Show car includes one passenger

Race Classes $75

Swap meet $10 plus weekend pass

Camping $50

(Racers no camping fee)

Kids 14 and under are free!

Dragway 42 is located in West Salem, Ohio and has been in existence for over 50 years originally opening in 1957. The facility has undergone a complete ground up renovation and is now one of the nicest sportsman tracks in the country! Dragway 42 is a multi-purpose facility that will host Drag Racing, Autocross Racing, Tractor & Truck Pulling and Concerts/Music Festivals as well as many other specialty events. Rock N Race is the event that combines nostalgia drag racing, huge car show and nostalgia Rock N Roll! This event was fist held in 2006 and is probably the most anticipated event of the year at Dragway 42. Rock N Race will be the only event of its kind at Dragway 42 and promises to be the biggest event of the year
